Is Ember really free?
Yes — everything, forever. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads. The daily prayer, the full Rosary, all fourteen collections, every theme and icon, unlimited prayers in your own words, widgets, and up to six daily reminders all ship unlocked. There is nothing to buy.
Do I need an account?
No. Ember never asks you to sign in or create an account. Everything you do stays on your iPhone.
How long does the daily prayer take?
About a minute. You can pray a single Scripture-rooted line, or choose a longer set of five or seven lines when you have more time. The rhythm is: a breath, the Word, hold to pray, amen, and the Glory Be to close.
Which Rosary mysteries does it pray each day?
Ember follows the Church's traditional weekday schedule — Joyful on Monday and Saturday, Sorrowful on Tuesday and Friday, Glorious on Wednesday, and Luminous on Thursday. Sundays follow the liturgical season. You can also choose any set yourself, and pray the full crown or a single decade.
Can I add my own prayers and intentions?
Yes. Write the prayers and intentions you need, and they join your feed and your daily practice. They stay yours, and they stay on your device.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
Everything is removed with it. There is no account to close and no server copy to request — because nothing was ever sent anywhere. Deleting Ember is the whole of it.
Does Ember work offline?
Yes. Ember opens no network connection of its own, so it works the same on a plane or in a chapel with no signal. It all runs on-device.
What do I need to run it?
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. There are no other requirements and no third-party accounts.
